Wheel Alignment & Tracking
Wheel alignment, also known as tracking or wheel geometry, makes sure your wheels are angled correctly so your car handles safely and your tyres wear evenly. Our technicians in Worthing and Sompting check and correct your alignment, helping you avoid unnecessary fuel and tyre costs.
Expert Alignment You Can Trust
Our Wheel Alignment Process
A professional wheel alignment checks your car's camber, caster and toe (tracking) angles against the manufacturer's specifications, then makes precise adjustments where needed. We offer both two-wheel and four-wheel alignment, and our technicians pick up even the smallest inaccuracies, correct them, and test your vehicle afterwards to make sure it's tracking straight, handling safely and putting less strain on your tyres. If your car has driver assistance systems such as lane keep assist, we can also recalibrate your ADAS after the alignment where needed.

How to Tell if Your Wheels Need Aligning
Misaligned wheels aren't always obvious, but these are the most common signs to look out for.
Off-centre steering wheel
Vehicle is pulling to one side
Uneven tyre wear
Poor handling or road grip
Vibration through the steering wheel
What We Check During Wheel Alignment
A full geometry check covers every angle that affects how your car drives.

Tilt
Camber
We check the inward or outward tilt of your wheels when viewed from the front. Incorrect camber causes uneven tyre wear and affects handling.

Steering
Caster
We check the forward or backward tilt of your steering axis, which affects steering stability, cornering and how your car returns to centre.
Direction
Tracking (Toe)
We check whether your wheels point slightly inwards or outwards relative to each other, known as toe. Incorrect toe causes tyres to scrub and wear unevenly, often on the inner or outer edges.

Technology
Precision Equipment
We use the latest alignment technology to measure every angle accurately and adjust it back to your manufacturer's exact specifications.

Frequently Asked Questions
Wheel Alignment FAQs
What happens if I don't get my wheels aligned?
Your tyres will wear unevenly and need replacing sooner, and your car may use more fuel and feel less stable. Regular alignment keeps your car safe and comfortable to drive.
How much does a wheel alignment cost?
It depends on your car and whether you need a front or four-wheel alignment. Give us a call and we'll give you a price for your car.
How often should I get my wheels aligned?
We recommend a check at least once a year, or if your car pulls to one side or your steering wheel isn't straight. It's also worth checking after new tyres or hitting a pothole or kerb.
Is wheel alignment the same as wheel balancing?
No. Alignment makes sure your wheels point in the right direction, while balancing stops vibration as the wheels turn. Not sure which you need? Just ask and we'll check.
What's the difference between tracking and four-wheel alignment?
Tracking checks the front wheels only, while a four-wheel alignment checks all four. We offer both and will advise which your car needs.
Will my ADAS need recalibrating after a wheel alignment?
It can, as the cameras and sensors are set up to match the direction your wheels point. We'll recalibrate after your alignment where needed, at both our Worthing and Sompting sites.
