How Our Tyre Fitting Works
Our tyre fitting service takes the hassle out of tyre replacement and makes sure the job is done safely. We remove your old tyres and check the wheels, then fit your new tyres and carefully balance and align them. We also check the tread on your remaining tyres against the legal minimum of 1.6mm, so you can be confident your car is roadworthy and safe to drive.

Frequently Asked Questions
Tyre Fitting FAQs
How much does it cost to fit a tyre?
Fitting is included when you buy your tyres from us. You only pay for the tyres and the responsible disposal of your old ones.
What is included in a tyre fitting service?
We remove and dispose of your old tyres, check your wheels, fit and balance your new tyres and set them to the right pressure. We then tighten everything to the correct setting and do a final check before you drive away.
How long does tyre fitting take?
Usually around 15 to 30 minutes per tyre. We'll give you an idea of timings when you book.
How do I find out my tyre size?
It's printed on the side of your current tyres, as a code such as 225/45 R17. You can also often find it on a sticker inside the driver's door frame. Still unsure? Give us a call and we'll find the right tyres for your car.
What is the legal minimum tyre tread depth in the UK?
The legal minimum is 1.6mm. Grip in the wet drops as tread wears down, so many drivers replace their tyres at around 3mm.
Do I need to bring my locking wheel nut key?
Yes. If your car has locking wheel nuts, please leave the key with us, as we can't remove your wheels without it. It's usually kept in the glovebox or boot.
Should I replace my tyres in pairs?
Ideally, yes. Replacing both tyres on the same axle keeps your car balanced, and we'll advise on what's best for your car.
Can all punctures be repaired?
Not always. Small punctures in the middle of the tyre can often be repaired, but damage to the side of the tyre usually means it needs replacing. We'll check it and let you know.
