Golf S Cambelt and Water Pump Replacement
Our customer's VW Golf S BlueMotion 1.6 TDI was long overdue a cambelt replacement. On this engine, the cambelt (timing belt) is usually due every 5 years, and keeping to that interval is important maintenance to keep the car running smoothly. Our VW specialist technicians replaced the cambelt and water pump together.

Why Cambelt Replacement Matters

VW Golf Cambelt & Water Pump Replacement
We replaced the overdue cambelt along with the water pump, which is a necessary part of the job on this engine. We also renewed the studs using genuine parts. Finally, we bled the cooling system using a vacuum bleeder to make sure there was no air trapped in the system.
Resolution
With the new cambelt and water pump fitted, we took the VW Golf S for a road test. All our checks came back fine, and our customer's Golf was ready for many more miles with the peace of mind that a key maintenance job had been taken care of.
